Norwich University - Master of Science in Information Assurance - Online

Master of Science in Information Assurance

The Master of Science in Information Assurance program was created to develop management leaders in the field of information assurance. The program capitalizes on your IT experience while offering an in-depth study of information assurance challenges that exist beyond the boundaries of the data center. You graduate with a thorough understanding of the business, governance and policy issues that are the foundation for effective solutions to current and emerging security threats, and you will have developed the skills necessary to communicate those issues to other leaders in your organization.

Achieving success
Classes are limited to 15 students or less. A small class size affords you a higher level of individualized support and one-to-one instruction from faculty. You are empowered to learn on your own, and with your peers, through asynchronous discussion groups where you may share, comment, and work on course materials, as your instructor dialogue with and mentors you. Our online learning environment ensures your success with unlimited instructional and technical support.

Managing your time
The School of Graduate Studies online programs are designed to accommodate the schedules of working professionals who are balancing their work and home lives. The asynchronous delivery gives you the ability to factor in the demands of your personal life or professional duties in meeting the program schedule.

Financing your graduate studies
The majority of Norwich students are utilizing financial aid to finance their graduate studies. Financing your graduate school education can be a daunting task if you are unfamiliar with the process, timeline, expectations, and options. Our job is to make this process a smooth journey for you, regardless of where you eventually attend graduate school.

Learning from the best
Norwich faculty excel in engaging you in the online learning environment. They draw on a range of learning approaches including case studies, lectures, group-work, and real-world projects. They recognize their responsibility to bring experience and expertise to bear in the classroom, to facilitate vibrant and engaging discussion of the subject matter, and to support you in all of your learning activities.

Accreditation
Norwich University is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc., through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education.
